My name is Maria and I’m a senior Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience major with a Psychology minor from Media, PA. I’m currently conducting my senior thesis in Dr. Berry’s lab, studying auditory flexibility as applied to speech in musicians and non-musicians. I’ve always been involved in the arts, so I was interested in the advantages musical training lends to auditory perception. On campus, I’m a violinist with the Villanova Pastoral Musicians, a dancer with Villanova’s only tap dance ensemble NOVAnoise, and Vice President of the Chinese Students Association. Outside of class and extracurriculars, I like spending time with friends and family, listening to music, and baking/cooking!
